What would Jesus look like in Politics, education or Administration?

Introduction

Over the years, Christians have understood the great commission of Jesus much clearer,

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mk 16:15

The emphasis is going into the world and not sitting back in the church. We have come to understand that not everyone will be in full-time pastoral ministry, and what matters the most is that we carry Christ and His principles into the world.

Christians have begun to realise that the seven mountains of influence are up for grabs. That the mountains of media, government, education, family, religion, entertainment and business are suppose to be taken for the lord.

Moses is a classic case of one who carried God with him,

Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; Jer 51:20

Moses was God's special craftsman who God used for a special mission,

Then the LORD showed me four craftsmen. Zech. 1:20
And they shall build the wastes of old, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. Is. 61:4

The special Work of Moses

So what was the specific work of Moses? As the axe of God and heaven's craftsman, what is the summary of his work?

God used Moses to break a 430-year-old stronghold of slavery

Though God's prophecy to Abraham was that the Israelites would be slaves in Egypt for 400 years, it took about 430 years before they came out. And it was a daunting task for Moses to spearhead this mission. You just need to imagine the hundreds of years it took for modern day slavery to be abolished in England and the US, and then imagine Moses doing this in a short time—it is nothing more than remarkable.

Christians just like Moses, are in many families, organisations, and communities that are plagued by strongholds—strongholds of oppression, poverty, local and international debt, corruption, negligence, mediocrity, sickness and diseases, ignorance... you name them. One of the works we must engage in is breaking these strongholds; this is exactly what Moses did.

My prayer is that you will look around your vicinity and pray that God helps you to be the aroma of Christ to both believers and to the perishing (2 Cor 2:15-17), allowing this aroma of Christ that brings life to destroy every stronghold around you.

Selah!

Thank you very much Sir.

Indeed we are Living epistles.

2 Cor. 3: 2-3

If we focus mainly on presenting Christ's letter to the whole world as He wants us to, the world will be a far better place than it is now.

Thank you very much Sir.

God Bless you.
