Knowing God has a standard is cool, but what next?

In the previous two articles, the real problem of man and God’s standards were discussed – establishing the root problem of man and God’s solution in Jesus. What then should we do now? What is the implication of this standard in Jesus for us now as Christians? Do we have any responsibility?
There are two key lessons we can consider from the previous articles
God needs women/men he can use.
The responsibility of a Christian is to become like Jesus – to become a standard.
God needs women/men he can use
Right after the fall of Eden, God began the process of salvation by prophesying the future seed of the woman in the person of Jesus (Gen 3:15). He planned and raised a people called Israel through which Jesus would come – getting prophets prophesying through the ages about His coming. All these led to the focal point of Jesus. This comprehensive plan was only possible because men availed themselves to be used – Enoch, Noah, Abraham, David, Joseph, Daniel etc.
Are you a person God can use? Is your heart given to the Lord? God is seeking disciples and not just followers – people up close and not regular members and the aim is that His disciples will become standards.

Becoming like Jesus
I have always wondered why Jesus did not just die in the heavens and God gets some prophet to write about it. Nope! God needed more than just an act of divinity, He needed a standard that humans can perceive, feel, and behold (1 John 1:3). That standard was Jesus and the cross.
Likewise, today, God wants Christians to go beyond just serving him to become like him; growing to the level of being standards. And just like Jesus as the standard broke the curse of death, overcame the grave, authorised the transfer of the keys of Hell and Hades and gave everyone access to God, so also, we as Christian standards can be used by God to deal with the numerous problems in our world. We must rise higher beyond mere Christian activities to godly impact.

The devil will always rise globally, nationally or through individuals and God is in the business of raising standards even before the devil rises just like Jesus was slain before the foundations of the earth (1 Pt. 1:20, Rev. 13:8). It is only God that knows the troubles of tomorrow, and He alone can prepare us by setting us up to be part of this standard against the enemy. God never plays catch-up and He’s already working out the solutions for tomorrow. May we be ever aligned to know His will and play our parts in raising the standard in our various spheres(Phil. 2:13).
God Bless you Sir for the Powerful message. May He Bless and keep you in Jesus' Name... May He Increase you and cause you to do greater exploits than ever before for Him in Jesus' Name...
More Grace.
